Length: 42.6 km
Start: Wittstock/Dosse railway station
Destination: Neuruppin railway station, Rheinsberger Tor

Places along the route: Wittstock/Dosse, Goldbeck, Dossow, Fretzdorf, Katerbow, Kränzlin, Neuruppin

Arrival/departure:

The tour starts at the railway station in Wittstock. The starting point can be reached from Berlin and from Wittenberge with the RE 6.

The end point is the station in Neuruppin, Rheinsberger Tor. The RE 6 also stops here in the direction of Berlin or Wittenberge.

Directions:

After the start in Wittstock/Dosse, the cycle tour runs for the most part along the railway line of the RE 6. Mainly developed paths serve as cycle paths. The route leads through typical Brandenburg forests and fields, passing through small, quiet towns and villages along the way. From Rossow, a detour to the Kyritz-Ruppiner Heide is worthwhile. The final stop is in Neuruppin at the Rheinsberger Tor railway station.

Both Wittstock/Dosse and Neuruppin are towns with historic town centres that should definitely be explored.

Cycle junction signposting: The cycle tour can be cycled almost entirely using cycle junctions.

Start at Wittstock/Dosse railway station (junction 3) - Scharfenberger Ziegelei (junction 5) - Dossow (junction 20) - Fretzdorf (junction 23) - Netzeband railway station (junction 37) - Netzeband junction/Katerbow branch (junction 32) - branch towards Kränzlin (junction 31) - Fontaneplatz in Neuruppin (junction 6) - Neuruppin railway station, Rheinsberger Tor (junction 1).
