The village church in the district of Bergfelde was inaugurated on October 22, 1933.
The 19-meter high bell tower housed two bells at its inauguration in August 1933. The 400kg bell had to be handed in at the beginning of the war, the smaller 240kg bell can still be found in the bell tower today.
The organ was inaugurated for the first time in 1935 for the Advent service. In 1994/95 it was reconstructed by the organ building company and is nowadays under monumental protection.
