Enjoy cakes and tarts and watch the hustle and bustle on the promenade in Neuruppin – at the tradition-steeped Café Huth, right next to Fontane’s birthplace. The in-house confectionery also supplies delicacies such as poppy-seed strudel and cream puffs, as well as seasonal pastries such as lukewarm quark balls and Christmas stollen. One particular speciality is the Black Forest cherry cream cake. The café also serves breakfast and savoury dishes of the day as well as sundaes. Soft ice cream is also available to take away.
This family-run business offers space for 50 people on its premises in comfortable seating areas. In summer there are another 24 seats available in the outdoor area.
