The amply-sized lawn is great place to relax, while the wicker beach chairs in the sand create a real Baltic Sea atmosphere. Lake Ruppiner See has excellent bathing water quality, so a cool dip is an absolute must. Swimming lessons are also offered by arrangement.
The open-air swimming pool was established in 1926-1927 and is dedicated to Friedrich Ludwig Jahn, the initiator of the German gymnastics movement. The Jahn-Lose monument can still be seen in front of the facility.
