Lake Große Zechliner See is near Flecken Zechlin in the district of Ostprignitz-Ruppin in north Brandenburg and is part of the Rheinsberg Lake District.

The lake is about 1.8 square kilometres in size with a maximum depth of 35 metres and the water quality is excellent.
The Zechliner Canal heading west provides a connection to Lake Schwarzen See and via the Repenter Canal to the east to Lake Zootzensee. This will take you to the Berlin waterways and Müritz.
The bathing area facilities are as follows:
