It is in the natural environment of the Neustrelitzer Minor Lakes District in the Uckermärkische Seen Nature Park. According to its description, the lake is a calcium-rich, unstratified lake with a relatively large catchment area. 

The bathing area facilities are as follows:
  • Parking spaces
  • Waste disposal facilities 
  • Sunbathing lawn
  • Toilet 
  • Playground
  • Sandy lido

Current assessment of the water quality: “microbiologically harmless”
